DDP Study Group for 2023-24 with Sian Phillips & Kristin Gionfriddo, George Hull Centre Institute, Canada

1 March 2023

An online DDP Study Group for 2023-24, through the George Hull Centre Institute, Canada, is starting on May 1, 2023.

It will be facilitated by Sian Phillips, Ph.D., C.Psych and DDP Trainer, and Kristin Gionfriddo, MSW, RSW, run virtually using Zoom and meet monthly.

“The Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy study group is a virtual working group. It will give participants an opportunity to come together to talk about and practice Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy skills. We hope to get curious together about what is working and those areas where you feel you may need more practice and knowledge. We will use discussion, role-play in large and small groups, as well as peer support to further embed DDP principles into your practice.

Our intention in having a small working group of 25 people is to ensure we have the opportunity to explore the moments, themes, and issues that are relevant to group members – the good, the bad and the ugly!

There will be 10 two-hour virtual sessions over the course of a year on Mondays, 9am-11am EST (Toronto). Dates are as follows:

  • 2023 – May 1, June 5, July 10, September 11, October 2, November 6, December 4
  • 2024 – January 8, February 5, March 4, April 8

The cost for all sessions is $500 CAD and the groups are open to anyone with DDP exposure (applicants don’t need to have completed DDP Level One or Level Two). Attendees do not need to live in Canada to register.
