New online DDP Supervision and DDP Study Groups, through Shalem Mental Health Network, are starting this October, 2021.
They will be facilitated by Betty Brouwer and Michelle Hogeterp, both Canadian DDP Certified Trainers.
The DDP Supervision Group starts on October 14, 2021, with future meeting dates to be confirmed. It will meet monthly over Zoom and there is space for four participants. It is open to anyone who has completed their DDP Level Two and they do not have to live in Canada to attend.
The cost is $600 CAD for six two-hour supervision meetings, 12 hours of supervision in total. In the group you will “review DDP principles, continue to develop and hone your DDP skills, and have the opportunity to work towards the DDP Practitioner Certification process (if desired)”.
For more information, including how to register, please visit the DDP Supervision Group page. If you have questions please contact Betty Brouwer or Michelle Hogeterp directly.
The DDP Study Group will meet over Zoom, on the third Thursday of each month, beginning on October 21, 2021 until March 17, 2022. There is space for between 6 to 12 participants and it is open to anyone who has completed their DDP Level One. As with the DDP Supervision Group, you do not need to live in Canada to attend. It costs $450 CAD for all 6 meetings.
“Each session we will be covering a different topic, with the opportunity to bring your own cases and questions. Some of the topic include:
- How to invite caregivers to reflect on their own experiences that help and hinder relationships
- How to introduce and explain DDP and the PACE approach
- How to deepen the intersubjective experience for both child and parent
- How to use a storytelling approach to co-regulate
- How to use talking for, with and about”
You can find out more by visiting the DDP Study Group page, which includes the link to register your place and the flyer. If you have questions please contact Betty Brouwer or Michelle Hogeterp directly.
