Trainer: Dan Hughes PhD
Dan’s treatment and parenting model, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, is family-based and focused on facilitating the child’s ability to establish a secure attachment with his or her caregivers. Attachment and intersubjectivity theories and research are the central principles used for relationship development and trauma resolution. Dan’s approach actively communicates PACE in order to co-regulate the affect associate with past experiences and to co-construct new meanings of these experiences.
