Train the Trainers Program for Group Facilitators
Foundations for Attachments Groupwork Program (FA) and Nurturing Attachments Training Resource (NA)
This is a 4 day online course running on September 29 – 30 and October 4 – 5, 2022.
Trainers: Kim Golding, Clinical Psychologist with assistance from Betty Brouwer, Director of Attachment Services at Shalem.
The Train the Trainers program provides delegates with the tools to deliver the Foundations for Attachments and the Nurturing Attachments Group Work programs within parenting groups.
Objectives include a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Foundations for Attachments Program, Nurturing Attachments Training Resource, The Foundation and House Models of Parenting, PACE, the group work process, the development of mind-minded narratives and the theory that underpins them.
The group work programs include working with parents and carers parenting children who are living away from their birth parents e.g. foster carers, adopters, residential workers and kinship carers.
Who is it For?
Participants need to have completed DDP Level One training and the completion of DDP Level Two is recommended. Attendees do not need to live in the Canada in order to register.
