People Places in Staunton, Virginia, has begun the practicum toward certification as an agency by DDPI.
People Places specializes in providing therapeutic foster care for a number of communities in central Virginia. Led by Keith Houff, Ed.D., Clinical Director, with ongoing consultation by Dan Hughes, People Places has incorporated DDP as the primary model of treatment and daily care for the children and youth for whom they provide services.
This represents the first agency to seek certification with DDPI for providing a quality program based on DDP principles and interventions.
