DDPI is proud to announce that due to the tireless efforts of Nickie Steinhoff, Director of Training & Community Support at Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition of St. Louis Missouri, there will be seven DDP Trainings (4 Level One, 3 Level Two) taking place between 2018-2020.

Nickie’s vision is to add onto the already high level of knowledge of their agency’s staff and collectively raise the bar on mental health services for children in foster care and supports for their parents by creating a PACEful, DDP agency and affiliated providers in St. Louis.

Dan Hughes, Ph.D. will kick off the training series in March 2018 with a professional development day for clinicians and another full day of discussions and workshops for foster parents.

The Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition is one of the St. Louis region’s leading recruiters of foster and adoptive families. They also provide support to families in the form of crisis intervention, advocacy, and training.

Their mission is to create permanency for every child in foster care, and we are constantly looking for innovative ways to achieve that goal.

Their staff and board could not be more excited to bring DDP to our community so we can build capacity in our families, break the cycle of trauma, and better serve our kids.

Congrats to Nickie Steinhoff and everyone at Foster Care & Adoptive Care Coalition!
