Successful North American DDP 3-day International Conference in Kingston Ontario

The 2014 North American DDP 3-day residential conference was held in Kingston, Ontario 6th-8th October – a collaboration between the Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy Institute and Susan Schumacher, Attachment Association of Canada. Presenters included Sian Phillips, Deni Mellim, Betty Brouwer, Sue Johnson, Leticia Gracia from Canada; Dan Hughes, Jon Baylin, Robert Spottswood, George Thomson, Dafna Ledner from the USA and Julie Hudson from the UK. The wide range of theoretical, clinical and experiential presentations highlighted the importance of this relationship-focused therapy and practice with children who have experienced developmental trauma and attachment disruptions.
