Commissioning DDP PACE

DDP PACE training provides your employees with a thorough understanding and experience of PACE embedded within the DDP framework.

It is suitable for all adults caring for, or working with children who have experienced relational trauma. This includes many fields such in education, social care, residential care and health care for example.

Matching process

DDPI offer a matching process for all DDP PACE training.

We start by requesting some information about your organisation, company and/or employees. We use this to match you to a DDP PACE Trainer, supported by DDPI. They will then take the lead and develop a training program with you to suit your employees.

To start the matching process, please get in touch through our contact form.

Course content

DDP PACE training is an excellent introduction to PACE, a way of thinking, feeling, communicating and behaving that aims to support the child to feel safe.

DDP PACE helps adults who support children to emotionally connect with them in ways which increase feelings of safety and trust.

In the UK, DDP Connects UK recommends that this should be £1,100 per day for 1 Trainer and £900 per day per trainer for 2 Trainers.

Travel and accommodation expenses are an extra and will be negotiated with the individual trainers. This will include a subsistence charge for trainers having to spend time away from home.

Training booklet and Certificates

The organisation commissioning the training will need to provide a printed version of the accompanying training book and certificates.

The training book is 40-50 pages. Delegates should receive the training booklet prior to the training either electronically or as a print version.
