Exciting plans for 2025

3 February 2025

Over the last few years DDPI Worldwide has undergone many changes. This includes the successful transition process and our ongoing commitment to becoming a more racially equitable and socially just organisation, the election of new Board members, and evolving from DDPI towards becoming DDPI Worldwide.

As part of this progression we are pleased to announce our plans for 2025. These include changes to certain member and certification fees, a new official DDP PACE Trainer membership status and our plan to give back to our DDP communities.

From April 2025 we will be bringing DDPI Worldwide membership and certification fee structures for Consultants and Trainers inline with those for Practitioners.

This will help fund DDPI Worldwide’s global efforts to bring DDP to more communities, and better reflect the administrative costs incurred.

We will also be giving back to local DDP regions by transferring 20% of Annual Membership fees received by the fee deadline from each region to DDPI Worldwide recognised official chapters, voices and organisations1. If no such group exists for a region, the funds can be used in other ways to benefit the local DDP community.

DDP Practitioner membership and certification fees will remain at the current levels, and we have no plans to change these.

Annual Membership FeesFrom April 1, 2025
Practitioner Annual Membership Fee (no change)$100
Consultant Annual Membership Fee$150
Trainer Annual Membership Fee$400
Certification FeesFrom April 1, 2025
Initial Practitioner Certification Fee (no change)$200
Final Practitioner Certification Fee (no change)$100
Initial Consultant Certification Fee (prev. $200)$250
Final Consultant Certification Fee$150
Initial Trainer Certification Fee$50 *2
Final Trainer Certification Fee$300

The membership fee changes will apply from April 1, 2025, and certification fee changes will apply only to people who start their practicums after this date. The Board is also in discussion with the Global Development Committee about applying equitable fee structures around the world.

Continuing these exciting developments, we have plans to introduce a new official DDP PACE Trainer membership, with an annual fee of $100. This will allow DDP PACE Trainers to have public profiles listed on our website and the training designation added for those who already do, access to our updated Membership website and official DDP PACE Trainer membership logos. We will be in touch with all DDP PACE Trainers with more information closer to the launch date, later this year. You can find out more about DDP PACE Training and becoming a trainer in our Training section.

We are also very excited to let you know that after a very successful 2024, DDP in focus is back for 2025 with new workshops, webinars and events for your professional development. The online DDP in focus series has been designed to help you develop and broaden your cultural competency, DDP skills and practice. The sessions are open to professionals who work with children who have experienced relational trauma, with a wide range of DDP experience.

To find out more please read the announcement and the list of all sessions can be found under DDPI Worldwide Professional Development. Please book through the individual event and training pages, where you can also find more detailed course information.

This is an exciting time for all those who volunteer and work for DDPI Worldwide. As we continue to make positive steps forward, we thank everyone in our DDP community for their continued support.
