‘Riley the Brave Makes it to School’, the second in the Riley the Brave book series by Jessica Sinarski and illustrated by Zachary Kline, is now published.

Demonstrating ‘PACE in action’ during transitions, it is published internationally by Jessica Kingsley Publishers (JKP). We featured the first ‘Riley the Brave’ book in our round-up of recommended books for use with clients, and when the series was picked up by JKP.

“Making it to school is tough at the best of times. In the aftermath of stress or trauma, it might feel impossible!

Riley Bear and his elephant parents share a peek into a tough morning. When big feelings threaten to ruin the day, this brightly illustrated story will help families find their way through with the help of P.A.C.E. Features educational afterword for adults… which explains how the book helps children, and how to get the most out of it.”

We’ve added ‘Riley the Brave Makes it to School’ to the DDP Library, and you can purchase it along with the original Riley the Brave on the JKP website (available in most countries) and in all good bookshops.

More information about the book series can be found on the Riley the Brave website, and Jessica has also created a Resource Bundle to help parents, caregivers, schools and professionals.
